Cynthia Beckert is a Los Angeles-based performer who divides her stage time between acting and theatrical dance.  She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of California, Irvine, is a member of the Los Angeles Women’s Shakespeare Company and NoHo’s Theatre Unleashed, and has performed in Southern California in productions at The Colony Theatre, The Pasadena Shakespeare Company, The Laguna Playhouse, A Noise Within, Rangeview Productions and the UCI Field Station.  She teaches workshops in classical acting, period movement and dance, and has served as dance choreographer and fight captain for Shakespeare festivals and regional theatres.
